Ceili Craic, April 1, 2010

Hello All,

Hope this finds you all well and outside enjoying this gorgeous weather! Spring has sprung! It's the season of new beginnings. Look at the tree buds and flowers. They're getting ready for their Grand Openings and they need no advertisement. Like clockwork the seasons change. Only weeks ago, we were enveloped in cold snow and today we had a canopy of warm sunshine. Isn't it encouraging to know that no matter how dark and cold things get - there's always hope for a brighter tomorrow? And that's not April Fool's.

***REMINDER - NO CEILI MOR GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 2***

There will be no Ceili Mor tomorrow because it's Good Friday. FON President, John O'Grady, said "For more than 33 years there's never been a Ceili on Good Friday. And that tradition won't be changing anytime soon." It's a good tradition. We will be having our next Regular Ceili on Friday, April 9. Hope to see you there.

***LOST AND FOUND***

No red for your head? There have been two red winter scarves left behind at recent Ceilies. One was a long, narrow red scarf left behind in the Fifth Province after the March Ceili Mor. That is now in the IAHC Office Lost and Found. (773-292-7035)

The other is a long, wide red scarf left behind about two weeks ago at a Regular Ceili in the Ceili Room. To see if you can identify the scarf, there's a picture at the FON website http://www.irishdancechicago.com/5.html. We'll have it for you at the Ceili next week.

There's much to do and see, just take time out to be.

Easter is often considered the most important Christian holiday because...

"And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins." (1 Corinthians 15:17)
